Well everyone i have some SHITY news, the truck got stollen from my parents front yard in spences bridge bc. and this is where we found it
my buddys white chevy is identical to mine but has the new bfg mud terrains and a 350 the other truck is a 83 chev with a 454 on propane and ya he smoked the clutch alittle haha
This is the carrier that I make to carry bikes. It fits into a standard square hitch type tow bar (Hayman Reece). Does away with trailers, no rego, easy to store, no tie downs.

It was all just smoke. That truck probably sat in the water for a minute. Nothing wrong with it. Believe it or not, this has happened to me twice.
i had a truck stole a few years ago and ended up getten cut up. i did atleast get the brand new engine back after it was found in another car at a car show. insurance wouldnt cover anything cause the truck was so old but didnt have a dang thing wrong with it.befor it was stolen
@hammer2009100 This isn’t true. Law enforcement or not, consider that not everyone is the same. I had an 02 Dodge 3500 dually, same situation, I pulled it out myself with my 95 F-250. Cut my losses and fixed it up. Insurance usually doesn’t claim anything like that anyway. There’s no proof it was stolen. It really doesn’t matter who pulled it out. You must be a recruit or just not the brightest cherry on the force.
@MrLen102 You’re wrong so don’t talk shit when you don’t know shit to talk. Notice how quickly the “smoke” dispersed. That’s not “smoke” it’s “steam” meaning, boiling water. If there was water in the oil and it was “smoking”, the “smoke” would have a slightly blue tint (due to the fact that oil would be burning as well) and wouldn’t disperse nearly as quickly.
im a cop and if it was stolen and u wanted insurance to cover it u wld have had a rollback get it out so knock off the horse shit about a stollen truck what thief steals a truck bogs it up and has another vehicel to pull it out uuuhh the fking owner where the hell are the cops
good way to blow your motor you do know white smoke means water in the oil you dumb shit
@icefishguy you do realize that you can take stickers off right
this isnt a Z71 either, cuz all Z71′s have the decal on the box, not the 4X4 decal. unless you went to a junkyard and took suspension parts off a true z71 chevy and out it on this truck
.
too bad about the truck, looked like a the head gasket might have been blown, the way she was pushing white smoke out like that.
@budro694 That’s what you got out of this??? He had his truck stolen, fucked in the ass, and then ditched.. Give him some sympathy, cus i’m sure if I stole your truck and fucked it in the ass like this you wouldn’t want people commenting on
the trim of your truck!!!
@JaketheCountryKid ohhh sowwwwwwy
@aildrules read the discripiton MORON!!!
thats why you dont take ur daily driver muddin..moron
@budro694 yeah i dont either…its just a 4×4 lol THERES A DIFFERANCE!!!
Im a ford guy but that blue truck the exuast just badass gotta love that big block power:D
lol that sucks but thats pretty damn funny lol
im sorry, i know how you feel i had a mint 02 silverado , i brought it to a garage to get it inspected and some guys stole it out of the parking lot , it was found on the side of the road with both back tires blown out and the body was beat to hell and covered in mud, i was so sad , luckily for me tho the garages insurance with cover the damage.
Damn dude sorry that your truck got stolen. I would be pissed cause I just bought a 96 silverado and if someone stole it I dont know what I would do. What was the total damage on it?
Did you at least find out who stole it?
@xXShadowRejectsXx Yeah, the only way to tell for sure would be to check the RPO codes in the glovebox, “Z71″ on this model consisted of bilstein shocks, high capacity air filter, skid plates, and heavy duty jounce bumpers. You could have most of those options without the Z71 package but all I have seen had the stickers on the side of the bed.
@urdadddy1 yours says 4×4 not z71 4×4
so i guess what i was wondering is why the hell would you steal it and then dump it in the creek just be a dick was there anything missing from it?
ha stolen like your ability to spell
@budro694 ur an idiot
@mharrop396 no just water in the exhaust
@michealmannion Thanks Mick, he loaded an XR650R on a Ballards rake at the back of a camper box trailer . I have no idea of the loading of the trailer
@Nullakern66 It all has to do with the balance of the trailer and draw bar length. This thing sat like a rock at 110-120 km/hr.
A mate tried the same thing and it fishtailed like crazy at anything over 50km/hr
@ladybeetle1972 the quad bike weighed about 180kg and the and my tow bar was rated at 250kg downward pressure if I remember right. it is definetly something that needs to be worked out especially for insurance purposes.
We are looking to do something very similar to this to carry 1 x 250 and 1 x 125cc bikes…but have been told that if we were to put them both at the front on the drawbar they are too heavy for the cars tow bar? We have a 97 long wheel base pajero..and have been put off because of this. Your set up looks awesome! Any tips?
@jugglingogre from memory the bike weighed about 125kg but I had a 180kg quad on the draw bar so was all good.
Hey fella, what does the bike weigh and how does it affect the balance of the trailer? I’m trying to work out how I can transport my DR650 with the camper.
It’s a great solution that I had thought about but figured it would alter the weight distribution a lot.
Cheers
Pete
What brand is the carrier
Very good idea sir! Ingenuity in action. Nice work!
I have a haymen reece towbar off one of my eb falcon wagons that i will fit up to camper. Then i will make the bit that the bike fits onto. Then just slide it in and out when i need to use it.
@PROXT When I ordered the trailer I told them that I wanted to carry my bike on the back and got them to incorparate a rear tow hitch similar to on a car, so the part of the bike rack that comes out from the trailer is 2″x2″ heavy box section so it fits any square box receiver tow bar on a vehicle.
That looks awsome. Does the bar from where the motorbike tyres sit on just go into main part of camper chassis.
