Is it neccessary to work from the outside of the dent to the inside, or pop it first, and work from the middle to the outside ?
Also this pointy hammering tool, how do we see, where we need to point it to, when hammering with it ?
@angdentrepair lol, rape your own tool tip dude…
pretty cool stuff,im a body man and were looking into it.
@denttime Sorry I wasn’t trying to be rude im just saying that’s the way i would have done it. I started pdr in 1999 and ive just gotten really fast at it. So yeah I guess im old school. Just because i said i could do that dent in 20 min don’t mean im racing just means im faster then when i first started. If you want to see some of my work angpdr.com I’m not very good at making videos so mine isn’t as nice as yours..
@angdentrepair Duck tape? That’s pretty old school and beyond the times in my opinion. Far as you removing this in 20 minutes? OK. I can’t wait to see your videos and look forward to the demonstration. It amazes me, even pdr techs still don’t understand – slower is faster and better. PDR is not a race. Nor will it ever be.
That dent would have only taken me 20 min if that but good job.. Try raping your tool tip with some duck tape intell the dent gets smaller..
thats quit clever
wow..coolest effing thing i’ve ever seen
hiya what was the black crayon like stick you was using is it made of rubber ????
Superlative job!
Nice work. I’m very impressed. Nice to see a job well done. Craftsmen that work with their hands and do it right is always impressive.
thought he totally screwed it up at 1:20
how did he get rid of all those little dents?
you are the sh_t!!!
this is so cool i wish i was u

very good job , this is the most dificult job in curvature, congratulation
I have a crack like that and I don’t know who can fix that in F.Lauderdale/Miami area..They told I have to change the windshield, but my problem it’s similar to what I saw in the video..I wonder if someone here knows a reliable person on my area..(by the way How much it cost (more or less)
Thanks..
What about putting a mat in the car where your tools are so you don’t scratch the paint. I hope you know how to work a buffer to!
Nice hat!
I was told (at Speedy Glass) that if crack is running, it is not fixable. the worker told me that replacing the windshield is the only way to do it (it was $480 at Speedy Glass). Looks like there are cheaper way to fix crack.
@chipcookington How old are you sir?
this guy is so great i wish i was him
lol, I just like watching heath.
@chipcookington LOL
@LittleLynnHotSprings EXCEPT FOR 1 THING…. HE’S NOT WEARING LATEX GLOVES

anyone in kings lynn able to do this for meee??
I’ve been repairing windshields since the first car was invented. I was also banging Henry Ford’s wife (what a hussy). This young whippersnapper is doing it right. The crack I mean, the wife is dead.
ive been repairing windshields for 86 years, and this young man is doing a great job. He was trained the right way.
@mypalrocco wtf how?
@vise357 hahah…well then why are you watching these videos then? With a $40,000 car budget you shouldn’t need to learn how to repair your own windshield now should you… somethings not right..maybe its the 54 yr old guy on youtube calling people ‘jacklegs’ in jealousy?
I’d rather see Heath’s crack.
I know that this is the best way to fix windshields. I fix 10,000 windshield chips and cracks each year.
I’ve been epairin for 22 years, and this young fellow has been trained well. Good work, young man!
@241TOPPER
Dude, it takes longer than 20 minutes to replace a windshield/windscreen properly. More like an hour to 90 minutes. I paid $40.000 for my car, I’m not going to let some jackleg slap a windshield into my car in only 20 minutes.
Hottie
Gavin from Auto-glass would like to inject his special resin into your crack!
@dregory thanks for your reply,i decided to get a winsdcreen,i did get thes resin but when the rock hit i didnt get any of the shapes only a straight crack that grew to be about 20cm i did buy it a super cheap aurtos i actaully thought the windscreen wasnt a bad price 180 fiitted brand knew,Obriens glass wouldhave charged double that,so even though i spent 145 more,i suppose its worth not getting a defect sticker!ill keep novus in mind 4future (lets just hope i wont have to,thanks again.
@marvinsheldon New screen…. and be careful of impacts to your rear vision mirror!! Dont try and repair it, will turn out shit!!
@lynnej1970 I have been in the auto glass business for 12 years and made a point of trying every “retail outlet” system that has come out (that I can buy) …. super cheap auto system is……. super cheap!!! take your car to Novus or similar shop and get the job done right, then when you have a warranty issue, you have some some come-back
